Originally born in New Zealand, I now live in California with my husband and partner John and our clever and energetic daughter Jade. We first met Dr. Ajit on one of our annual visits back home to New Zealand in 2001. We were seeking good health care as we prepared to have a family and we wanted a Doctor who was well versed in not just curing issues that may arise but help us get our entire lifestyle in proper order so we would stay healthier as a family. Dr. Ajit guided us on all those aspects and even prepared a list of diet changes and lifestyle changes as we prepared to have a baby as I had just crossed the age of 42.
Being eager to learn and practice more of what he shared with us about the science of life (Ayurveda) , we followed his in-depth recommendations and begun to see the changes that Ayurvedic knowledge can make in one’s life. Successfully giving birth to my daughter in 2004, my husband and I were able to incorporate the shared wisdom of raising her in an Ayurvedic lifestyle as well. She is 7 years old now and we are pleased to report that from all the input we get from teachers and fellow parents, Jade is an exceptional, energetic, polite, caring and creative individual who is thankfully, healthy to match. If she bring’s home a cold or flu bug from school or the park, we get her back in balance and on the path to wellness with a few Ayurvedic techniques and/or supplements and adherent diet for a quick recovery. Knock on wood, but she has never had to take any prescriptions since birth.
While we have been using Dr. Ajit’s line of Skincare developed by he and his scientist wife Rippan (who also shared wonderful Ayurvedic knowledge with us about raising children), Jade has had the unique advantage of using Ayurda skincare all of her life (mostly Oliana Oil morning and night). My husband is a bit of a late comer to the skincare party, but I have been using Ayurda since it was created and often receive compliments on my skin (always nice to hear these days) and my husband, now 53 has decided to join in as he has got a bit of wrinklage (his word) (sic) happening to his fair English/Irish skin. Now that has discovered Ayurda (and skincare in general beyond a razor and Aveeno), he’ll pop out of the shower, put on his Ayurda products and show off his polished and well-hydrated skin and seek a compliment or two for his new smooth shave and younger hip look. So… we give it to him with a cooing ooooh la-la and a stroke across his smooth chin and cheeks. Anyway, enough about him other than that he is very good at marketing and developing ecommerce stores and has been doing so since 1994.
