Kapha Skin Type.
Your skin will have the tendency to be thick, heavy, sticky, cold and moist. It requires substances that are light, dry and hot, to create a balance.
According to Ayurveda, the human body is governed by three intelligences - Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These intelligences are commonly known as Doshas or humours. As they are the governing force behind every function in our body they manifest through their qualities.
Kapha dominant skin has qualities of the earth and water elements.
Kapha skin has a tendency towards heavy, thick, moist, damp, cold and sticky qualities in skin composition. This will lead to problems such as saggy skin, water retention, thick skin, wrinkles, cellulite, lack of glow, white heads, pustules and patches. The skin has too much moistness and thickness that can close the pores and accumulate the sebum in one area.
